The A walk left the coach half a mile before Llandrillo at Pont yr Hendwr and climbed south easterly to the Berwyn ridge by way of Moel Ty-uchaf . Then out and back to Cadair Bronwen, south along the ridge to Cadair Berwyn . Then returning over Foel Fawr eventually joining a lane at Blaen y Dre Uchaf and down into Llandrillo.

The 'C' walk started from Bryn Saint, just outside Corwen. Followed the old rail line to Cynwyd and then headed across the fields to sample the local incline and take in the 360 degree views to be had from the top. A short walk in the direction of Mynyyd Mynyllod led to the path downward towards the River Dee, then crossing over to the final stretch into Llandrillo.
The two B walks started together westward out of Llandrillo to Ty'n-y-ffridd. The B- party then continued west and the B+ turned south up the Ceidiog valley, then northwards back towards Llandrillo and up towards Moel Ty-uchaf. Lunch stop before climbing to the Cairn Circle. On then past the waterfall at Rhyd-yr-hydd and returning through the woods along the river Llynor.

Llandrillo in sightAfter parting ways with the B+ party the B- walk headed to Llandderfel through the woodland on the southern slopes of the Dee valley. The tempting pub at Llandderfel was not resisted. After which the return to Llandrillo was along the north side of the valley.
